Hi, I’m Paty!

I was born in Brazil, raised in Switzerland, and like many, I followed the “safe” path—corporate finance, stability, routine. But life has its own plans.

About me

After my divorce, I began traveling—with my two kids, and sometimes solo. It became my therapy, my freedom, and my reminder that joy can live alongside responsibility. Over the past 10 years, I’ve explored more than 30 countries—not just as a tourist, but as a woman rebuilding her life, one destination at a time.

This blog is my way of finally sharing the places that filled my soul, the lessons I learned on the road, and how I made travel possible even as a single mom with limited time and budget. You’ll find low-budget tips, splurges that are totally worth it, and experiences that made me feel alive again.
 and with purpose.

This isn’t a family travel blog—it’s a space for real, independent, soulful journeys. For women who are juggling life but still dream of adventure. For anyone who wants to travel smarter, deeper, and with purpose.

Who I Am

Hi, I’m Paty—Brazilian-born, Swiss-raised, and deeply in love with travel, food, and stories that matter. I left my corporate finance career after a life-changing divorce and have spent the last decade discovering the world—with my two kids by my side and sometimes solo to recharge.

I’ve now traveled to over 30 countries across 4 continents and built a life that blends adventure, motherhood, and personal growth.

Why This Blog Exists

For years, I was too busy juggling kids, jobs, and my food side hustle to share my travels. But now, as my teenagers grow more independent, I’m finally giving life to this long-held dream.
